* ramips: limit max spi clock frequency to 50 MHzShiji Yang2024-07-10
| | | | | | | | | | In the past few years, we have received several reports about SPI Flash not working properly. This is caused by excessively fast clock frequency. It's really annoying to fix them one by one. Let's reduce these aggressive frequencies to 50 MHz. This is a safe and suggested value in the vendor SDK. Signed-off-by: Shiji Yang <yangshiji66@qq.com>
* ramips: clean up useless dts partition labelsShiji Yang2024-02-21
| | | | | | | | | | The previous NVMEM eeprom conversions[1][2] left a lot of partition labels that were no longer used. They can be removed now. [1] https://github.com/openwrt/openwrt/pull/13584 [2] https://github.com/openwrt/openwrt/pull/13587 Signed-off-by: Shiji Yang <yangshiji66@qq.com>
* ramips: convert to new LED color/function format where possibleChristian Marangi2024-02-07
| | | | | | | | Initial conversion to new LED color/function format and drop label format where possible. The same label is composed at runtime. Signed-off-by: Christian Marangi <ansuelsmth@gmail.com>
* ramips: mt7621: convert to nvmem-layoutRosen Penev2023-11-26
| | | | | | Allows replacing mac-address-increment with mac-base. Signed-off-by: Rosen Penev <rosenp@gmail.com>
* ramips: convert MT7610 and MT7612 EEPROM to NVMEM format for MT7621Shiji Yang2023-10-09
| | | | | | | This patch converts MT7610 and MT7612 WiFi calibration data to NVMEM format. The EEPROM size is 0x200. Signed-off-by: Shiji Yang <yangshiji66@qq.com>
* ramips: convert MT7603 EEPROM to NVMEM formatShiji Yang2023-10-09
| | | | | | | This patch converts MT7603 WiFi calibration data to NVMEM format. The EEPROM size is 0x400. Signed-off-by: Shiji Yang <yangshiji66@qq.com>
* ramips: mt7621-dts: add pinctrl properties for ethernetArınç ÜNAL2022-02-26
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Add the missing pinctrl properties on the ethernet node. GMAC1 will start working with this change. Link: https://lore.kernel.org/netdev/83a35aa3-6cb8-2bc4-2ff4-64278bbcd8c8@arinc9.com/ Overwrite pinctrl-0 property without rgmii2_pins on devicetrees which use the rgmii2 pins as GPIO (22 - 33). Give gpio function to rgmii2 pin group on mt7621_tplink_archer-x6-v3.dtsi which uses GPIO 28. Signed-off-by: Arınç ÜNAL <arinc.unal@arinc9.com>
* ramips: w2914ns-v2: consolidate leds nodes into dtsiSungbo Eo2021-08-30
| | | | | | | | | | | | w2914ns-v2, 11acnas, and freezio use almost same board and thus share a common dtsi file. Now that LED labels do not contain "devicename" since commit c846dd91f0a6 ("ramips: remove model name from LED labels"), let's move the leds nodes to dtsi and remove them from dts. Note that freezio has only one USB 3.0 port and adding &ehci_port2 trigger does not incur any visible changes. Signed-off-by: Sungbo Eo <mans0n@gorani.run>
* ramips: convert mtd-mac-address to nvmem implementationAnsuel Smith2021-07-19
| | | | | | | Define nvmem-cells and convert mtd-mac-address to nvmem implementation. The conversion is done with an automated script. Signed-off-by: Ansuel Smith <ansuelsmth@gmail.com>
* ramips: move redundant console setup to mt7621 SoC DTSIAdrian Schmutzler2020-07-17
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | For mt7621, console is set up via DTS bootargs individually in device DTS/DTSI files. However, 44 of 74 statements use the following setting: chosen { bootargs = "console=ttyS0,57600"; }; Therefore, don't repeat ourselves and move that definition to the SoC DTSI file to serve as a default value. This patch is cosmetic. Signed-off-by: Adrian Schmutzler <freifunk@adrianschmutzler.de>
* ramips: mt7621: update dts/defconfig for DSADENG Qingfang2020-04-04
| | | | | | | | | | | update dts and network/LED configuration for DSA driver. sysupgrade from images prior to this commit with config preserved will cause broken ethernet setup. Signed-off-by: DENG Qingfang <dengqf6@mail2.sysu.edu.cn> Acked-by: Jo-Philipp Wich <jo@mein.io> [split commit] Signed-off-by: Chuanhong Guo <gch981213@gmail.com>
* ramips: mt7621: update pinctrl nodesDENG Qingfang2020-04-04
| | | | | | Upstream GPIO driver uses "groups" "function" properties Signed-off-by: DENG Qingfang <dengqf6@mail2.sysu.edu.cn>
* ramips: mt7621: convert GPIO dts refsDENG Qingfang2020-04-04
| | | | | | | The upstream driver does not use &gpio0..2 banks notation anymore, so convert them to &gpio Signed-off-by: DENG Qingfang <dengqf6@mail2.sysu.edu.cn>
* ramips: DTS style improvements for mt7621_wevo_w2914ns-v2.dtsiAdrian Schmutzler2019-12-13
| | | | | | | | | | | | This does several trivial DTS style improvements: - Move device name compatible to DTS files (and fix compatible in 11acnas.dts) - Remove xhci node as status is set to okay in mt7621.dtsi already - 0x0 instead of 0x0000 - Simplify state_default node definition Signed-off-by: Adrian Schmutzler <freifunk@adrianschmutzler.de>
* ramips: improve support for WeVO 11AC NAS and W2914NS v2Sungbo Eo2019-11-06
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | - remove WAN port index - load WAN MAC address directly from the flash - provide label MAC address - increase flash's SPI frequency to 80MHz - add mt76 led nodes to make WiFi LEDs work - drop unnecessary pinmux groups The factory partition scheme for MAC addresses (verified on both devices): 0x4 : WiFi 2.4GHz (label_mac-9) 0x28 : unused 0x2e : WAN (label_mac) 0x8004: WiFi 5GHz (label_mac-5) 0xe000: LAN (label_mac-1) 0xe006: unused By improving flash speed, `time dd if=/dev/mtdblock3 of=/dev/null bs=64k` has been reduced from 14.51s to 3.11s. * ramips/mt762x: convert devices to interrupt-driven gpio-keysAdrian Schmutzler2019-10-21
| | | | | | | | | | | This converts all remaining devices to use interrupt-driven gpio-keys compatible instead of gpio-keys-polled. The poll-interval is removed. While at it, add/remove newlines in keys and leds node where necessary. Signed-off-by: Adrian Schmutzler <freifunk@adrianschmutzler.de>
* ramips/mt7621: Name DTS files based on schemeAdrian Schmutzler2019-07-10
As introduced with ath79, DTS files for ramips will now be labelled soc_vendor_device.dts(i). With this change, DTS files can be selected automatically without further manual links. Signed-off-by: Adrian Schmutzler <freifunk@adrianschmutzler.de>
