* bmips: dts: fix pinctrl errorKyle Hendry2024-12-24
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The kernel logs the error "bcm6368_nand 10000200.nand: there is not valid maps for state default" on boot and all nand pins show as UNCLAIMED in sysfs pinmux-pins. bcm6362.dtsi, bcm6368.dtsi and bcm63268.dtsi use the undocumented property group which the driver doesn't understand. This has been documented upstream in commit caf963efd4b0b9ff42ca12e52b8efe277264d35b. Replacing group with pins allows the nand pins to be properly configured. * bmips: fix kernel panic caused by missing CBR addressDaniel González Cabanelas2024-10-01
| | | | | | | | | | | | The cbr-reg DTS property uses a wrong name causing the RAC kernel panic again on BCM6358 BCM6368 boards. Use the correct cbr-reg name property. * bmips: dts: move leds dt-bindings include to SoCsÁlvaro Fernández Rojas2024-02-08
| | | | | | | bmips has all the dt-bindings includes inside each SoC .dtsi files, so let's move the new includes there instead of adding them to each board .dts files. Signed-off-by: Álvaro Fernández Rojas <noltari@gmail.com>
* bmips: document GPIO external interruptsÁlvaro Fernández Rojas2023-04-27
| | | | | | | BCM63xx SoCs have an external interrupt controller which can be used for specific GPIO keys. Signed-off-by: Álvaro Fernández Rojas <noltari@gmail.com>
* bmips: pci-bcm6348: load IO resource from DT rangesÁlvaro Fernández Rojas2023-04-18
| | | | | | Correctly load IO resource from DT ranges and remove the specific IO resource. Signed-off-by: Álvaro Fernández Rojas <noltari@gmail.com>
* bmips: dts: fix switch compatible stringsÁlvaro Fernández Rojas2023-03-20
| | | | | | Use the proper string for each SoC. Signed-off-by: Álvaro Fernández Rojas <noltari@gmail.com>
* bmips: dts: fix warningsÁlvaro Fernández Rojas2023-03-09
| | | | | | | | - Add missing interrupt-parent to ext_intc. - Add missing #address-cells and #size-cells to gpio_cntl. - Use proper gpio handle for gpios (ar-5315u). Signed-off-by: Álvaro Fernández Rojas <noltari@gmail.com>
* Revert "bmips: add missing switch cpu label"Álvaro Fernández Rojas2023-03-05
| | | | | | | | This reverts commit dc0de05e10a9c6e1ef66ca2934e8a0ff0d488943. As pointed out by @BKPepe and @arinc9 this was removed by 9df035b since it isn't needed. Signed-off-by: Álvaro Fernández Rojas <noltari@gmail.com>

* treewide: remove label = "cpu" from DSA dt-bindingArınç ÜNAL2023-02-26
| | | | | | | This is not used by the DSA dt-binding, so remove it from all devicetrees. Link: https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux.git/commit/?id=9cc115d8d6f73dd260de1609182f3645844d6907 Signed-off-by: Arınç ÜNAL <arinc.unal@arinc9.com>
* bmips: backport accepted pinctrl patchesÁlvaro Fernández Rojas2021-03-29
| | | | | | | These patches have been accepted for linux v5.13. External interrupts not supported for now. Signed-off-by: Álvaro Fernández Rojas <noltari@gmail.com>
* bmips: switch to upstream ehci overcurrent flagÁlvaro Fernández Rojas2021-03-24
| | | | | | | After backporting upstream ehci overcurrent patches we need to use spurious-oc instead of ignore-oc. Signed-off-by: Álvaro Fernández Rojas <noltari@gmail.com>
* bmips: add experimental PCI/PCIe supportÁlvaro Fernández Rojas2021-03-23
| | | | | | | | These PCI drivers are a bit hacky and definitely not suitable for upstreaming, but hopefully we can use them as a base for developing proper upstream PCI drivers. Signed-off-by: Álvaro Fernández Rojas <noltari@gmail.com>
* bmips: add experimental ethernet supportÁlvaro Fernández Rojas2021-03-14
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This adds experimental ethernet support for BCM6318, BCM6328, BCM6362, BCM6368 and BCM63268. BCM6358 needs a different driver, so there's no support for now. Working devices: - Comtrend AR-5315u - Comtrend AR-5387un - Comtrend VR-3025u - Comtrend VR-3032u Not working devices: - Netgear DGND3700 v2 (no idea on how the external switch is connected) - Huawei HG556a ver B (BCM6358 needs a separate driveer) Signed-off-by: Álvaro Fernández Rojas <noltari@gmail.com>

* bmips: rewrite pin controllersÁlvaro Fernández Rojas2021-02-25
| | | | | | This is needed in order to upstream them. Signed-off-by: Álvaro Fernández Rojas <noltari@gmail.com>
* bmips: bcm6368: fix bcm2835-rngÁlvaro Fernández Rojas2021-02-22
| | | | | | | IPSEC needs a reset before using its HW RNG. Otherwise, the numbers generated won't be random at all. Signed-off-by: Álvaro Fernández Rojas <noltari@gmail.com>
* bmips: add new targetÁlvaro Fernández Rojas2021-02-22
This target has full device tree support, thus reducing the number of patches needed for bcm63xx, in which there's a patch for every board. The intention is to start with a minimal amount of downstream patches and start upstreaming all of them. Current status: - Enabling EHCI/OHCI on BCM6358 causes a kernel panic. - BCM63268 lacks Timer Clocks/Reset support. - No PCI/PCIe drivers. - No ethernet drivers.
