* bmips: dts: move leds dt-bindings include to SoCsÁlvaro Fernández Rojas2024-02-08
| | | | | | | bmips has all the dt-bindings includes inside each SoC .dtsi files, so let's move the new includes there instead of adding them to each board .dts files. Signed-off-by: Álvaro Fernández Rojas <noltari@gmail.com>
* bmips: convert to new LED color/function format where possibleChristian Marangi2024-02-07
| | | | | | | | Initial conversion to new LED color/function format and drop label format where possible. The same label is composed at runtime. Signed-off-by: Christian Marangi <ansuelsmth@gmail.com>
* bmips: dts: remove unneeded cferom aliasÁlvaro Fernández Rojas2024-01-18
| | | | | | | This is no longer needed after nvmem-layout changes. Same as 6f328dfe19 for NAND devices. Signed-off-by: Álvaro Fernández Rojas <noltari@gmail.com>
* bmips: remove mac-address-incrementRosen Penev2023-11-22
| | | | | | It's deprecated. Signed-off-by: Rosen Penev <rosenp@gmail.com>
* bmips: fix NETGEAR DGND3700v2 boot loopÁlvaro Fernández Rojas2023-06-14
| | | | | | | | | | | | The DGND3700v2 renames the cferam bootloader from cferam to cfeXXX, where XXX is the number of firmware upgrades performed by the bootloader. Other bcm63xx devices rename cferam.000 to cferam.XXX, but this device is special because the cferam name isn't changed on the first firmware flashing but it's changed on the subsequent ones. Therefore, we need to look for "cfe" instead of "cferam" to properly detect the cferam partition and fix the bootlop. Signed-off-by: Álvaro Fernández Rojas <noltari@gmail.com>
* bmips: dts: improve and align device tree filesÁlvaro Fernández Rojas2023-06-11
| | | | | | | Align all the device tree files and follow the same criteria before more devices are ported from bcm63xx and this goes out of control. Signed-off-by: Álvaro Fernández Rojas <noltari@gmail.com>
* bmips: increment polled keys interval to 100Álvaro Fernández Rojas2023-04-27
| | | | | | | There's no need to poll the gpio keys every 20 ms and the linux kernel documentation suggests 100 ms. Signed-off-by: Álvaro Fernández Rojas <noltari@gmail.com>
* bmips: drop unneded cpu labels from external switchesÁlvaro Fernández Rojas2023-03-22
| | | | | | | | | These labels aren't needed and were accidentally added when adding external switches support for bmips. Fixes: 80a3ecc89489 ("bmips: add Huawei HG253s v2 support") Fixes: 61f3c3b1eebd ("bmips: dgnd3700v2: enable external BCM53125 switch") Signed-off-by: Álvaro Fernández Rojas <noltari@gmail.com>
* bmips: dts: nand: add missing address/size cellsÁlvaro Fernández Rojas2023-03-21
| | | | | | | | | | | Fixes the following warnings for Netgear DGND3700v2 and Comtrend VR-3032u: [ 1.059540] 7 fixed-partitions partitions found on MTD device brcmnand.0 [ 1.066570] OF: Bad cell count for /ubus/nand@10000200/nandcs@0/partitions [ 1.073766] OF: Bad cell count for /ubus/nand@10000200/nandcs@0/partitions [ 1.081927] OF: Bad cell count for /ubus/nand@10000200/nandcs@0/partitions [ 1.089128] OF: Bad cell count for /ubus/nand@10000200/nandcs@0/partitions Signed-off-by: Álvaro Fernández Rojas <noltari@gmail.com>
* bmips: dgnd3700v2: enable external BCM53125 switchÁlvaro Fernández Rojas2023-03-21
| | | | | | | The Netgear DGND3700v2 has an external BCM53125 switch which can now be enabled as a DSA disjoint switch tree setup. Signed-off-by: Álvaro Fernández Rojas <noltari@gmail.com>
* bmips: convert mtd-mac-address to nvmem implementationAnsuel Smith2021-07-19
| | | | | | | Define nvmem-cells and convert mtd-mac-address to nvmem implementation. The conversion is done with an automated script. Signed-off-by: Ansuel Smith <ansuelsmth@gmail.com>
* bmips: dts: align LEDsÁlvaro Fernández Rojas2021-03-29
| | | | | | Align all bmips devices LED configurations. Signed-off-by: Álvaro Fernández Rojas <noltari@gmail.com>
* bmips: backport accepted pinctrl patchesÁlvaro Fernández Rojas2021-03-29
| | | | | | | These patches have been accepted for linux v5.13. External interrupts not supported for now. Signed-off-by: Álvaro Fernández Rojas <noltari@gmail.com>
* bmips: dgnd3700-v2: fix gpio keysÁlvaro Fernández Rojas2021-03-29
| | | | | | These GPIO keys were assigned to incorrect pins. Signed-off-by: Álvaro Fernández Rojas <noltari@gmail.com>
* bmips: add experimental PCI/PCIe supportÁlvaro Fernández Rojas2021-03-23
| | | | | | | | These PCI drivers are a bit hacky and definitely not suitable for upstreaming, but hopefully we can use them as a base for developing proper upstream PCI drivers. Signed-off-by: Álvaro Fernández Rojas <noltari@gmail.com>
* bmips: dgnd3700-v2: fix ethernetÁlvaro Fernández Rojas2021-03-16
| | | | | | | This is a temporary workaround to get the ethernet working, since external switch is connected by MDIO and it needs additional work. Signed-off-by: Álvaro Fernández Rojas <noltari@gmail.com>
* bmips: add experimental ethernet supportÁlvaro Fernández Rojas2021-03-14
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This adds experimental ethernet support for BCM6318, BCM6328, BCM6362, BCM6368 and BCM63268. BCM6358 needs a different driver, so there's no support for now. Working devices: - Comtrend AR-5315u - Comtrend AR-5387un - Comtrend VR-3025u - Comtrend VR-3032u Not working devices: - Netgear DGND3700 v2 (no idea on how the external switch is connected) - Huawei HG556a ver B (BCM6358 needs a separate driveer) Signed-off-by: Álvaro Fernández Rojas <noltari@gmail.com>
* bmips: automatically detect RAM sizeÁlvaro Fernández Rojas2021-03-08
| | | | | | | | | Introduce new patch for automatically detecting RAM size. Some boards have a different amount of RAM depending on the HW revision. Therefore, automatically detecting the RAM size instead of hard-coding it will reduce the number of device definitions. Signed-off-by: Álvaro Fernández Rojas <noltari@gmail.com>
* bmips: dts: comestic changesÁlvaro Fernández Rojas2021-03-08
| | | | | | Improve and refactor device tree files. Signed-off-by: Álvaro Fernández Rojas <noltari@gmail.com>
* bmips: add new targetÁlvaro Fernández Rojas2021-02-22
This target has full device tree support, thus reducing the number of patches needed for bcm63xx, in which there's a patch for every board. The intention is to start with a minimal amount of downstream patches and start upstreaming all of them. Current status: - Enabling EHCI/OHCI on BCM6358 causes a kernel panic. - BCM63268 lacks Timer Clocks/Reset support. - No PCI/PCIe drivers. - No ethernet drivers.
